The Founder of Apsara Arts
Kogilavani Krishnamorty is
an Indian Classical Dancer from Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia. Kogilavani
holds a master's in Education and is an educator by profession. She started
learning Bharatanatyam under the tutelage of Guru Sri R. Chandramohan in 1993
and completed her Arangetram in 2007. She has performed in several festivals in
Malaysia and is a passionate person about this art.
Hence, she has taken the
first step to pursue her passion. She has formed a sharing platform on dance,
music, and yoga known as APSARA ARTS via YouTube, Facebook, Blogspot, and
Instagram. At the same time, she found a few lovely friends who are into this
beautiful art as well and they enjoy dancing together to date. Kogilavani is
also a Yoga practitioner and likes to play Veena (Ancient Indian musical
instruments) in her free time. She has a great
affection for Carnatic Music.
