Twamewa
The Tvameva Mata Mantra is a beautiful mantra that uplifts the soul when it is troubled by the obstacles of reality. Through this mantra, we find the will to approach each new day with hope, even in the most challenging times. The mantra is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Master of the Universe, and the compassionate Nurturer of All Beings on earth.
This morning mantra is a part of the Pandava Gita, an assortment of wise mantras from various ancient Hindu texts. This mantra was uttered in devotion by Queen Gaandhari to Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu himself. The spirit of the mantra is acceptance and surrender, which is why it is also known as the hymn of divine surrender.
